Diana Mandile (Paulin)

GARDINER – Diana Mandile Paulin, 74, passed away unexpectedly May 18, 2021 in Gardiner. She was born in Newton, Mass., March 16, 1947, the daughter of Anthony and Angelina (Pittorino) Mandile.

She grew up in Newton, Mass.and was a 1965 graduate of Newton High School. At 17 years old she met the love of her life Robert Paulin and they were married November 1967, before moving to Maine.

Diana worked the majority of her career for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services for 25 years until her retirement.

She had a passion for reading and animals, she was a great friend to all.She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Paulin, her parents Anthony Mandile and Angelina Mandile, brother Anthony Mandile Jr, sister Juanita (Mandile) Ayer, and a nephew Michael Patriacca as well as her beloved dogs Dummy and Rancid.

Diana is survived by her sister Marion Patriacca and her husband Raymond of Newton Mass., brother John Mandile and his wife Janice of Watertown, Mass., sister-in-law Anne Mandile of Garden City, S.C.; her life long friends Gina Dagostino of Bellingham, Mass. and Anne Libert of Jefferson; along with many nieces and nephews.
