Jimmy and I where pretty good friends. We kept in touch all the years after high school. Jimmy always had something nice to say. Never a bad word about anybody. I'm going to miss him. Rest in peace my friend. Please somebody go to the funeral for me.
Jimmy was one of the good guys. I think we had Miss Parker (Mrs Bloom) for English one year and we took summer school drivers ed or something else, as well. Always with a smile that was infectious and a kind manner, an all around nice guy. Sad to hear the news.
I can't imagine not seeing Jim at a reunion, and not sharing our 58-year-old disappointment at losing to Reading,1-0, in the tournament - our last game in orange and black. A friend and teammate to treasure.
I knew Jim from way back at overnight camp. Camp Alton where he displayed amazing athletic abilities. This was when we were really young, maybe before high school.
he excelled at every sport and was always on the "A"team..
We texted and sent pictures to each other during recent years. He always had a great smile and laugh. He will be missed. Joe
Hello All: I attended Jimmy's funeral and graveside services.
It was quite obvious he had many friends and loving family.
Just look at his numerous pics and there's a guy who enjoyed life.
I last saw Jim at the Danny Hyde's annual get together. Always the center of attention. Loved a good meal.
Will always remember his hit photo in the year book. Middle finger gaff.

Played Little League Baseball with Jim and Wayne Chaison in Newton Central League.
Jim was always upbeat and smiling. He wa a good baseball player and played BB at Newton North HS.
When he attended our reunions... all were happy to see him again.
May you rest in peace knowing you touched many lives.
