Devoted mother of Julie MacFarland and husband Brian of Windham, NH. Loving grandmother of Amanda, Colin, Ashley and Brian. Dear sister of James Battista of Newton. Sandra enjoyed walking and time with friends, especially with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed antiquing and belonged to a doll collectors club. Funeral Services are private. Sandy's mother Ramona Luchetti was a bride's maid in my Mom's wedding, 1946. As babies, the two moms pushed our baby carriages on long walks. Her dad, Obie, was my dad's friend. We spent Sudays together until my Mom had four more kids that eliminated free time to keep the families' friendship up. I knew Sandy when we were in daipers and a lot less so when we grew out of them. It is sad to read of her passing; itt brings back nearly forgotten 70 year old memories that still bind us. Rest in peace.
